I know my truck is a 99 model, but I don't know if it is an early or late 99. It does have the foil on the driverside intercooler pipe, but it has the opening in the fender for the early 99 intake. When I got the truck, it had the late 99 intake, which I know could have been the recall job by the dealer. The dealer told me that its manufactering date was May, 3, 1999. I also pictured the turbo, if it will help. I have read that early 99's have smaller turbos. The truck is an F-350 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4 off road SRW in a burnt orange and pewter at the bottom. The main thing confusing me is the foil on the intercooler, if it is an early 99. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anything built after 12/8/98 is considered a late model 99. So since yours was built in May of 99 it would be a late 99.

Where is your powerstroke emblem? Fender or door?

The emblem was on the door.

Look for the intake air heater... if you have one then its a late 99, if not its an early...
