cone shaped DIY
Hey what do you guys think of the cone shaped filter from AutoZone or pep boys apposed to the Tymar (napa 6637)?, They will bolt right in place of the tymar, has anybody even seen them? I was lookin at one and wondered how good it would be, they even come in different colors. and kinda resemble the afe.

I've got one from auto zone on my DIY. Seems to do pretty good. As long as you oil and clean it regularly, I think it is as good as any of them.

Yeah Vita your right buddy, I wonder how well they filter. I actually didn't realize they needed to be oiled either. Also do you think It is more restrictive than the tymar or about the same? it's not as big as the tymar but should serve the same right???

Just make sure one way or there other -- as long as it filters well, you should be good oiled or not

It probobly flows the same of more air, but probobly doesn't filter as well. Im not familiar with those filters. Might for peace of mind stay away from them just my 2 cents
