hp/weight

Question. Guy has a gmc 1/2 ton making around 400hp and i have a 02 7.3 cc not making even close to that. If i made 400 that still wouldnt be enough to run with him correct? Couple gas motor guys given me hell, i have nothing to prove but would like to run close to them if i raced them.

I plan on having a 400hp dd but would also like to shut these 1/2 ton guys up but so far nobody wants to hook bumpers

Not necessarily. He may have 400 hp, but thats a 1 RPM peak for a second. If you could make 400 hp you could tune it to be for 5-800 rpm. Depending on his weight you could probably take him.

cool . I was looking at maybe those plus a ragulated return and a srp1. I want to make 400 but not have to max out anything to achieve it. Then have the truck tuned on the dyno. I have a list of the parts but thats all i could think of off hand.
