2002 7.3 turbo downpipe size recomendation

I'm getting ready to buy a turbo-back exhaust system and have been reading that a 4" downpipe will loose low-end torque and that if your truck is used daily, a 3.5" downpipe may be the way to go. I have an '02 F350 with a 6 speed manual trans. Any thoughts or suggestions ?

Go 4" or keep your stocker. I'd put a 5" DP in if it would have fit.
