Looking at 2000 F250 7.3 6 speed

Im new to this site but not new to diesels(just putting it out there haha). i got a 99 f150 that i have a chance to sell for 3500 cash and i would buy a 2000 f250 7.3 6 speed with 260k on it. Its got 4 in turboback, intake, boost trans, egt gauges, 4 inch lift, 33s. it does have a bad bed and comes with a extra to be put on and the cab corners need to be done. Mechanically it runs great, injectors are good, transmission shifts perfect, does run rough when cold at first start but comes out of it quickly. the guys selling it for 4000. wondering if this could be a bad deal or just a steal. hes in college and needs money for his loans and is a totally legit guy. Any info would be great and how are the manual trannys in them for making power probably in the 400 range?

You can cure cold roughness. Most likely through better or and or Rex x. Also check to make sure the oil pan isn't rusted bad!

Ive heard about having rusted oil pans and what a b***h they are to change. So are you guys saying i should get it??

theres a link to the ad. i talked with him and it needs the new bed put on(he has one) and a cab corner done but the frame is still perfect. Im not worried about some rust since itd be a truck i wanna put money into and make all nice.
