Need help! Won't start

I changed my water pump now it won't start?? Truck sat for a week before I got to the pump so the batteries were a little low. Never been a problem before.Turns over but doesn't even try to fire. I'm goona go buy beer,maybe that will help!

did you bump the CPS? maybe load check your batteries, or charge them. a bad cell in one battery can cause serious frustration.

I unplugged the CPS when I did the pump but it's back the way it should be.I think it's batteries..how can they just go bad?? The date on them is 04-07.

The batteries are pretty old, id take them out and have them tested....its an easy, free thing to eliminate.

Charged the batteries overnight and it started first try. Looks like I'll be getting new batteries today. Another$200 !!
