Its a pretty nice set up. I think if you plan on going really big with your mods, you should probably stick with regular gauges though. It has its limitations.

well i was looking on discount power parts and i saw this new deal edge has. it has 3 power levels up to 100 hp and 200 ftlb tq. but ive also heard that the 7.3's react better to chips than programmers. what do you think? With this truck I have now I more than likely wont do anymore than chip it with something like the ts. But I have no idea what i want to do, theres so many different combinations. But right now I think it is down to isspro gauges and the ts chip or this new edge deal. i saw where it said not adjustable on the fly? that kind of is a turn off to me...sry for the story

Realize that you can take the Commander and get an adapter for the TS chip and run them together like the attitude.

We have a download that you update your COmmander with. Then you plug this adapter into the TS chip (removing the switch). At this point the Commander allows you to flip through all the levels of the chip. Then you can set automatic de-fueling points based on boost or egt or whatever you want.

Basically it is just like the Edge except you get to run the TS chip.

^^^^ that right there is basically what I was planning on doing... I don't plan to do anything more than possibly injectors and a turbo some day (with all the mods inbetween) Plus the commander mounts lower on your A-pillar so its not right in your face like I feel the guages would be... but thats just my opinion...

btw - does the qzilla have the adapter for say a wildman chip or dp chip? or is it only for a TS chip"?

The adapter is for any of the "TS Style" 6 position chips. They don't have to have all 6 settings but, it needs to be that style chip. I know Bullydog, TS, DP Tuner (older maybe??) and a lot of others used and still use this chip.

We also have a wiring only adapter for our 4 Bank 4 Position Chip as well as Van Aaken style chips. Does not matter who tunes them just that the hardware is the same.

It is awesome and they work very well together and you get to get the tuning of your choice.

maybe a stupid question, but I seriously want one of these rather than guages... but are they backlit green? or???

I was going to talk to Tony Wildman about his chips.. hopefully they will work with the quad!

Hey is someone out there currently running this setup?
Can we get some feedback on it. I am considering running the same one and would like to hear the Pro/Cons of the combo.
