Red face Question: No EBV = No High Idle?

It JUST occurred to me: I deleted my EBV....

Will the high idle still work?

I like the high idle, I just didn't want/need the EBV.

Not really a huge deal....but If it is gone I will be sending my chip out for a modification before it really does get cold!

It still does, if i recall, i just never think about it... lol plus im going to put it on my chip as well because I want a higher high idle anyway.. so no worries.. enjoy the lack of ebpv, straight pipe sounds way nicer without that pos!

It just occurred to me that they might be "connected" electronically with the PCM. I didn't know if the high idle would still work if the PCM sees the EBV as FUBAR.

If it still works, no biggie. But IF it doesn't I need to get my chip sent out ASAP for a little :modification."

The truck will still high idle on it's own.
