Dynoed...

Hey I dynoed my 99 PSD (K&N intake, 4" downpipe to 5", shift kit, Edge juice stacked on Evolution) down at Diesel extravaganza, wondering if these numbers sound right...

I bought the Evo down there but wasnt all that impressed...
Now I should have dynoed with the chip all the way down but didnt run through my mind until after the fact, so this is all based on the seat of my pants...

MAX Torque: 678.50
MAX HP: 325.37

And the air temp was 103* and it was 30% humididty

That looks pretty inline with other 7.3s. Not bad at all. Now you know what you need to go up from.

pretty **** good #'s. i take it that your ride is a late 99'. nice job. cannot wait to see what mine does. just got the block and crank back from being decked and ground. putting all 01 stuff on it - turbo w/ turbo wheel, injectors and hpop.

I went on the DynoJet (I think, it was the one on the trailer by the entrance)

I went right after 2 red Cummins, I know, I know thats pretty vague. (if you were at this event you know what Im talking about)

O, and yes it is a late 99

hp slightly higher then expected, tq slightly lower then expected.

Pretty extreme heat, and were those corrected or uncorrected #'s?

I was there, and know exactly what dyno you are talking about. That was David Dunbar's Dyno. Your results will be posted on his website... I just don't remember what it is at the moment.

Don't know exactly when you ran... there was a red Dodge single cab dually that ran on Fri... I know the guy, and watched it run. He's had some work done, and you got better numbers than him!!!
