PMR and Forged Rod Weight

This is what I found out when I took my rotating assembly to the local machine shop. I bought a set of forged rods on here for my build, since I am going to be building my engine. I've always wanted to know if they weighed any difference. That way I would know if I should have the rotating assembly balanced or not. Every thread I read says that the forged rods are heavier. I never even though to take the pmr's at first. But I found out the forged rod weighed 1471 grams. I went home and grabbed a pmr and it weighed 1559 grams. That's a 88 gram difference in the two. That's roughly 704 grams for all eight rods. Just thought I would share this with everyone. And I am aware that this is my engine and the weight of my rods. Yours probably weigh slightly different.
