engine blow-by??

i have a quick question,
start the truck, pull off oil cap.... i get a puff puff puff of very light smoke out of the oil fill. someone told me this was perfectly normal.
until today another person told me that my engone is "worn out" if any oil comes by the oil fill

so whats the deal is it normal? am i "worn - out" @ 150k?

thanks guys

It's all about the pressure. A little smoke/puff is normal.

It's normal. Unless it's excessive.... your description sounds normal though.

Flip the cap upside down and place it back on the tube. If the gasses blow the cap off then it could be considered excesssive, but at 150k I highly doubt it, unless it had a K&N or some busted intake tube.
