Digital gauges

Ok so I have a hypertech tuner now, an intake, and mbrp 4" with exhaust. I recently sold some stuff and have about 1000 to spend. I am looking at the Quadzilla Recon XZT gauges, Dp tuner with 60 tow, 80 econo, 120 race, and the bts valve body. I also recently just part the stuff from radio shack to make a manual TC lockup switch. My question is that I know that the DP will be able to over boost the motor, and if I get an overboost annihilator, will the guages only read what the comp thinks, or will the read correct. If someone has a better solution to my problem I am all ears. Thanks
