Seafoam

Today i went and got a bottle of seafoam. My truck has 165k so i thought it wouldn't hurt to seafoam it. I've done a couple of my buddies gassers, by simply pulling a vacum line out and putting it in through there. But with my 2000, from what i've read you can just put it in the fuel bowl. I did this but had a problem with overflow. When i pulled out the fuel filter, there was no room to pour the seafoam in, so i pushed the filter back in and let some of it overflow out. I then poured the seafoam in and pushed the filter back in, but a s*** ton of it overflowed out.
My question is is there anybody out there that has done this and found a solution to the overflow? Or put the seafoam in in a different location?

Thanks

I have drained the fuel bowl and filled it with seafoam. turn the little yellow handle with the cap off and all the fuel in the bowl will go on the floor. You can catch it in a bucket. The problem is that with our return system most of the seafoam ends up in the tank. I would love to find a way to soak my injectors in seafoam so hopefully someone else knows how to do it.
