Overhead display questions

Hey guys, can the overhead display be installed fairly easy in a truck that didn't come with one originally? The temp, and miles remaining etc...

Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks guys

Tony

YES
There are several write up s on it. Google is your friend.
You will need the console unit, the harness that goes from the console to pass side foot well. Some have said the temp sensor is already there even if you don't have this option, but you will need to verify this on your truck. If I didn't have the overhead I would be adding it too.

Do you know if the fuel remaining calculation works off a know tank volume or is it a calculation of miles traveled from full to empty? Reason I'm asking is I would like to replace the tank on my Ex with a larger one and it would be nice if the miles left calculation worked. I've tried searching for this with no success.

Yes, I used google, and could only come up with the same questions as I was thinking in my head. I did see mentioned that the passenger kick panel needed be removed to check the plug. I did that, and noticed both plugs I have are already plugged into something. I can post a pic of said plugs if youd like. Also, are both plugs used in the factory harness when bought? my plug nearest the door has i think 2-3 wires in it, and the other plug closest to the firewall has about 8.

Let me know,

Thanks, Tony

I know there is a right up over there too, but I don't have time to find it for you. It's there, many have done it.
