Overhead Power Termination Options

I just got a new radar detector and would like to mount it above the rear-view mirror. It's a 2003 XLT without a overhead console, not sure if that was an option back then? Anyway, I'm looking for an ignition on only power source up there. Or I hear there's some power if I run down the passenger side pillar? Since I've got gauges and stuff on the driver side, I'd like to avoid going that direction at all cost!
