Dang, first 7.3 issue!
Many of you have seen the "Barney" truck I have been messing with. Well, I have been driving this everyday. I have driven my 6.0 maybe about 5 times in the past month.
So, business as usual today, went to work, hit the gym came home. It was upper 50s this am and she gave a small blue puff this morning, nothing out of caracter for a lot of diesels in a cooler am. However when I came home, I decided that I needed to run to the grocery store. Hoped in Barney, and drove off. Went about .5 miles down a hill. When I needed to hit the throttle i started to get a miss. By the time I was going up the hill, I was blowing smoke. It was dark out but looked blueish white. Went back home, shut off, turned on again, RAN PERFECT. Shut down, started up, ran like crap again. Another few times, it is all good. I am getting a few codes. The cam shaft sensor which that code has always been here. Still need to take 20 mintues to change that out? Check out the other. One is for a dual altinator low voltage. I only have one alt! Any ideas?

When the CPS in my truck went out it was very intermittent.

I am so fat and lazy. I knew since day one I needed to change this. Instead I do everything else under the sun. Stupid.

So do you guys think that this could be caused by the bad cam sensor?
