Intermittent SES light
Starting yesterday my ses light will come on after i start the truck and it has ran for a few minutes. Then it will shut off. The truck runs fine. The only thing I noticed is I thought my exhaust valve thing oped yesterday for just a second. I got that whoosh sound for just a second. Odd thing is that it was 100 degrees yesterday. I am flat broke for the next two weeks so I can't afford to have it scanned and no way to do it my self. Any of you guys have an idea what it might be?

|
very few things will actually turn the SES light on. The most common are IDM codes. The easiest and cheapest thing is to check all of your connections in the engine compartment. You might have a UVCH on the verge if unplugging itself. That might be a PITA but is actually free to fix. Just time.
