Super Chips setting?

Hi all, I'm new to this site and look forward getting some good advice. I have a 99 f-250 7.3 with a superchips programmer, 4" exhaust and a k and n air intake. I have been getting what I considder poor mpg. 13 unloaded. What setting should I be at to get my best mpg on the superchips? The k and n , and the exhaust are new with in the last week. I've been trying to get the best mpg that I can. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I have the superchips 1805 4" turbo back and tymar diy intake in my 99 F250 6 speed and I get my best on performance setting.. It definatly gives the best mpg over the economy and tow settings

btw I get 23-24 mpg on the highway on long trips

do you both have 99's or 99.5's. There is a difference and you will see a MPG difference between the 2.

Performance setting seems to work best on the superchips

Thats most likely why your milage is so good. Those early 99 got killer milage and were running SOB's

You can't go wrong with any of those tuners. I myself like Jody's tunes, but they are all good

superchips setting

How do I know if I have an early 99 or late??? What is the difference??? If I am running on the performance setting, do I have to worry about heat issues or tranny etc... If I plan on driving it easy to get my best mpg?

One other question: How can I identify what tranny gear ratio I have in my truck? At 65 mph I am at about 1800 r's.

Thanks in advance.

in perf tune dont tow anything and you will be fine...but EGTs are recommended.
tow performance mode up to 6000lbs towing capacity

and tow safe for everything elses

early 99 was built before 4/1/99 see door jamb.
