Question about pressure washing engine

The 7.3 in my 2000 f-350 is filthy, and the usual places (intake boots, air cleaner boot) are covered in oil and grime. Does the valley between the cylinder heads drain off the back of the engine, or will I need to blow the water out of there when I'm done pressure washing the engine? I'll be keeping the water away from the electrical parts as best I can.

You should be ok the connectors are water resistant
And a good tip at the DIY car wash rinse with the wax
It will leave your Eng looking good a prevents dirt from baking
On and easier the next time you wash
And if you have nice wheels use the wax on them too as
It will be easy to clean off the next wash too
