Radio killed my truck

Hey guys.
So about a month ago i put a temporary radio in the truck to hold me over till i could get a new new. wired it all up worked great but wouldnt shut off when the key was off and also kept the windows working with no key in the ignition. i just dealt with it for a while untill yesterday when i bought a new stereo. wired the whole thing up and got nothing. windows wouldnt even work untill i would drive a little. the only thing that would work on the stereo was the eject button, which is supposed to work without accessories on. is there a relay or somthing simple that could be acting up? any info would be awsome i have a really long drive ahead of me and unrealiable windows and no radio is going to suck!
Thanks
Will

My radio and windows work for about 10 minutes after I shut the truck off with no key.

Did you check fuses? Maybe you touched something together and blew a fuse. Sounds like something simple, hopefully. Mine did this and it keep blowing one of the big 30 amp fuses due to ignorant people hooking up my radio and alarm system. Not saying your ignorant at all but the guys that did mine were, took them quite a few months to fix with multiple problems haha

Well that explains it, cause my security module is f'ed up and acts as if my doors are always open even though they are not.

O I didnt read your post good enough. That wouldnt be a fuse(even though I would still check just in case). Every once in a while if I hit both the window buttons at the same time the passenger one wont work but if I let off and hit it again it works. Im kinda lost now
