how to r&r 2 rockers

I want to replace both rocker arms on cyl 8. Can i just remove them and install the new ones and torque to 20 foot pounds?
Do I have to have the motor at tdc or anything? I have a tick out of that cyl and the only thing I have not checked is that.
I am just unsure if its got a partially opened valve if i can slowly still torque it down?

Just take them off and put them back on, no tdc. I did my injector cups awhile back and took them all off at once. Torque them back and the injector hold down bolt as well and you will be fine.
