Well i just got my chip i love it and must say these tunes are bad ***. Im getting stalling and some cutting in and out and yes the pcm and chip are making good contact. I have to give tony a call but want to see what your thoughts are too. I almost crashed coming of the highway today when it stalled.
It's throwing po605,po603 and p1211. Last edited by 4.0l sahara; 08-12-2011 at 03:39 PM. |

Get a reburn from Bill at PHP ... I had the TW and did not like it. I've had the Phoenix now for over a year with no issues.

well if thats what i need to do in the end but ive only had the tw tunes for like a weak. They do make some great power but there are a few bugs. I'm not shure it's the tune and not the chip.

Did you re-mount the PCM with the black box? Mine was having stalling, (and a bunch of other issues) and it was caused by the black box putting uneven pressure eon the chip, moving it and messing up the PCM. Lost the box, and haven't had an issue since! |

so you are saying remove the black cage? will it stay in place by its self?

![]() I fashioned a little metal bracket in a "Z" shape, drilled a hole for the screw in one end and taped a piece of rubber on the other, and bent it so it would bolt to one of the box-screw mounting holes, and hold the PCM in place. Haven't had an issue since.

so to narrow it down, I had the chip removed and my truck no longer stalls... gotta be the connection or chip or the burns themselves.
