Fan Clutch

Ok why will my fan clutch not disenage. My fan clutch has not disengaged since I got my truck back from the trans shop. What would make it stay engaged. From the time I start the truck up to the time I shut it down.

Don't know unless it just decided to peter out. If you turn it by hand with the engine off is it hard to turn?

not sure how new clutch fans work honestly havent looked at them but the older ones had a metal coil spring that expanded with the heat and locked the fan and when they contracted the disengaged. If its the same kinda design then my guess would be that the coil wore out and never contracted.

Well the good thing is it is locked so I don't have to worry about over heating. The bad thing is with it locked I am loosing Hp. I will take a look at it. Man if it is gone bad that is not cheap to fix I priced it once before 237.00 bucks.
