New X owner
I just bought an 01 Excursion w/ the 7.3l. What is good oil to use? What weight should I use? This is my first Diesel, and I love it. Thank You.

Welcomee! Any good diesel rated oil is fine to be honest.. If you are in a colder environment a 5w40 oil would be great, if its not extreme good ol' 15w40 is good all year round
 .

I use and read Rotella T6 oil is good. Can get it at Walmart which is nice. Be sure to buy Ford motorcraft filters. I have a 03 Ex and love it. Will tell you to research and ask questions before you upgrade...
