I have a 2001 f-350, I'm coming up on a hundred thousand miles and i was wondering besides my oil, oil filter, and fuel filter if there is anything else i should be concerned with ?

I changed my coolant. And my serpentine belt just as a preventitive measure.

I second the coolant. Also, if you haven't done them recently, the diffs and transfer case, transmission, power steering, and brake fluid are all things that could always use freshening up.

Yeah, should I be thinking about switching to synthetic oil? And if so how do I do it, two quarts every oil change?

Sythetics are nice but in my opinion in the 7.3 as long as you run a good name brand diesel oil and change it regularly, plain oil is fine. If you want to run extended change intervals it may be something to look into.

You can give synthetic a try if you're in a really cold climate, it can help with cold starting on those December mornings below 0. Another thing to check is your fuel bowl for leaks, chances are it'll start to leak eventually, maybe not at 100k, but it's a good time to check while you're changing the fuel filter.
