I run factory size BGF Rugged Trail Load Rated E from Costco on my Ex. Have them balanced and rotated every 5-6k and filled with nitrogen. Got 90,109 miles out of last set and have 68,000 on the current set with enough tread left to get around 100k out of them. Well worth the extra money to get the use out of them. Run quiet and have plenty of grip pulling my boat in and out of slime covered ramps and while off road on my family's property in the mountains.

This is a very loaded question, and for us to even get close to making any suggestions, we need to know what type of driving you do (on road, off road, towing, etc) and what size you're looking for.

IMHO, if ride is of utmost importance, I'd be looking at Michelin's. The LTX if you want a more aggressive tread for snow maybe....

An all around excellent performing tire but,,,, you pay for it

We've always had good luck with the BFG Long Terrains.

I would recomend the Bridgestone Duravis R500hd's my buddy put a set on his 02 excursion at 270,000 and replaced them at 400,000 and they still had 6/32nds of tread. he only replaced b/c they were starting to dry-crack and he was going to take a 4,000 mile across country trip..
