Thoughts on upgrading turbo

I am looking to upgrade my turbo later on. Right now I have a tymar intake, muffler delete, and a TW chip. My buddy is a big talker and talks more than he knows. He claims. that if I upgrade my turbo I will need new headstuds and mainstuds? just wanted to get thoughts on this from other people that actually know.

You will only need head studs if you get big injectors. But you will never spool a huge turbo without big injectors.

If you get say, a 38r you wont need em.
