I'm sure most will say that the chip and guages will give you far better performance for your $$$ and with $1000 you should have some left over

TS will be okay - but you will want to get some custom tunes for even more bang for your buck... try Jody @ DP, Tony Wildman @ Total Diesel Performance, or Tadd @ Elite Diesel to hook you up!

Don't forget you can use the Commander with any of the TS style 6 position chips, our 4 bank chip or any of the Van Aaken style 4 bank chips.

Basically you can get tuning for any of them that you want and then use the Commander like the attitude. It will give you your gauges plus you can set de-fueling parameters.

It is pretty click how it works. Oh, and you won't need a switch for the chip either!

I needed to ask the same question about how to spend my $ for an upgrade and I do have an automatic. What does "BTS VB" stand for?
Thanks for the great education so far! This site is great.

Brians Truck Stop he is known for building one of the best transmissions for the powerstroke. VB stands for valve body basically it will help firm up your shifts and help the life of your transmission. Here is a link to look at Welcome to guzzle's BTS Valve Body Web Page
