I'm sure most will say that the chip and guages will give you far better performance for your $$$ and with $1000 you should have some left over

DPtuner, BTS VB (if automatic) and whatever gauges you choose, I personally like isspro or the quadzilla commander!!!

TS will be okay - but you will want to get some custom tunes for even more bang for your buck... try Jody @ DP, Tony Wildman @ Total Diesel Performance, or Tadd @ Elite Diesel to hook you up!

Don't forget you can use the Commander with any of the TS style 6 position chips, our 4 bank chip or any of the Van Aaken style 4 bank chips.
Basically you can get tuning for any of them that you want and then use the Commander like the attitude. It will give you your gauges plus you can set de-fueling parameters. It is pretty click how it works. Oh, and you won't need a switch for the chip either! |

i picked up the edge for 200 bucks on ebay.. i like it for the money, but now Im gunna have to add some gauges because you dont get to many with it.. thats my 2 cents
