Cleaning Engine
Is there anything specific that cannot get wet under the hood? On my 6.0 I cover my FICM, alt, and power steering res.

I use PurplePower and regular hose water.

Anything different with the 7.3?

I'm just careful of the things you mention and of most of the electrical plugs. I don't flow water right on them, although I know a lot of guys do and have no trouble.

Purple power works great, I love it but I don't let it sit for long at all.
Simple green is a good one too.
