The only thing you can do is unplug the redline going to the wastegate, or get a aftermarket one that doesnt give you more power persay.. it just lets the turbo spool a lil more before it dumps the boost...

the only way to get more power with that boost... well get some tunes. php gets my vote.

i member seeing a red tube going to something on the turbo, is that it? i thought there was a screw or something on turbos that your could adjust to get some power...

i guess would the better thing to do just be to get a tuner of some sort?

It is the wastegate, it dumps the boost at a pre-set pressure so you don't overboost the turbo....anything over 30PSI and your turbo is going to hate you. I tried unplugging mine (out of necessity... the wastegate nipple broke)but once I was hitting 30-31PSI my turbo would surge.

That being said, a better turbo boost controller (I have/love my Turbo master) and a Wicked Wheel will improve your turbo performance, but other than that you need to get a ported housing, ($500ish and minimal improvement) or start looking at a bigger turbo to the tune of $1500ish.

+1 on PHP's tunes!
