01 E350 Ambulance Where is the PCM???

I tried to add a Bully Dog GT Tuner to my 01 E350 Ex Ambulance and it didnt take.
So now I need to remove the PCM or I think it might be the ECM and reflash it.

I cant see it under the Emergency Brake Pedel.

Can someone point me in the right direction please!!!

I need my Truck and it wont start!
Cheers!

The pcm is behind and above the gas pedal. It has 2 10mm nuts that come out through the engine bay-once you unbolt them you can pull it out with the fuel pedal unbolted.

So I need to remove some nuts from uner neith first at the firewall, then it comes out into the foot area of the drivers side?
Do you have any pictures?

Look under the hood-right behind the oil fill tube-you'll see where teh large grey connector bolts to the PCM. there is a nut above, and below the connector. Unbolt them, then remove the TPS/pedal assembly.

So the proper removal is, Under hood remove the 10 mm bolts, then remove the bolts for the gas pedal, then it drops donw inside compartment and then reverse?
Which side do the wires go into the unit? From the top? or towards the firewall?

Yes it is. Like I said, directly above and behind the pedal! You have to remove the nuts holding it in, they are in the engine bay above and below the large connector.

The connector goes straight in through the firewall-the part of the pcm you see is the rear of it.

Daz, have you ever tried a Bully Dog?
It told me the wrong fuse and it locked up my ECM.

bully dog=the bottom of the barrel.

DPtuner.com

send jody your pcm, he can flash a tune to it, or you can get a chip with adjustable settings. Give him a call for some options!
