odd wire..

First off, I know this isnt the correct spot to post this but the tranmission problems board doesnt seem to get to much attention to here we go..

I posted several days ago about a problem where my torque converter will unlock then lock back up very quickly at anything over 50 mph, any one got any ideas?

Today im off and instead of spending my lovely weekend riding and boating im laying under my truck still searching for the problem. Today i noticed a rather odd white wire coming from the top of my transmission. i cannot squeze my head up there to see it but i followed it back and it leads to my dash it has been hidden behind the fuse panel.

It has also been cut and tapped off in the dash but is still connected to the tranny!! i cant even get my hand up there to remove it, anyone have any ideas of what this could be?
Possibly a old manual torque converter lock up switch? im not quite sure where those do or can get spliced into.

Also if this is that anyone know if i could use it and just make my own manual tc lock up to fix my problem temperaraly and keep tc locked in when in O/D?

Just some thought that are running around in my head! and they are driving me nuts!!

Pulls are coming this weekend and with my truck acting like this im now debating not entering

Put a meter on it and do some testing.
