It has a dp tuner, intake and gauges.I have 4"mbrp in the garage waiting to go on and I bought the truck with the tuner in it and im awaiting a email from dp to figure out what tunes it has. I was just wondering what mods I would need. I also have to pull the turbo soon to put in bellowed up pipes and im thinkin about puttin in a wicked wheel at the same time.

Just keep on driving, you can beat him in a race across country because he'll probably break down half way through...
![]() Joking aside, you'll probably be looking at a turbo and injectors to beat a 6.0 with minor mods, they are pretty speedy. |

Tell Jody at DP that you want his hottest tune on your tuner, I think it is still the 120 extreme. You will beat your buddy off of the line(assuming you are both running Auto's) but then it will be a matter of distance. Get your 4" straight pipe exhaust on there and go see how it does. After these mods its starts getting expensive. The next stop for me would be the Garrett GTP38R Ball Bearing Turbo. Then injectors. Then studs. Then twins.

Man I really don't know if a 7.3 can beat a 6.0 they are quick man. My 6.0 is not stock by any means but I am working on a 2000 for a guy doin intake, exhaust and tuner and still not really impressed at all since I am coming from my 6.0

Sounds good thanks for your guys help. I was thinkin about throwin a turbo and injectors at it. Just worried how much its going to affect fuel mileage and reliability.

My cousin has a 2002 with 596 horsepower and 1185 ft pds and still get around 20 on the highway and is very reliable

An '01 ain't going to beat a tuned 6.0L, without major work. The PMR rods are only real relyable to around 400RWHP, and a tuned 6.0L will be putting down 420+. The 6.0L has a lower first gear, better torque and will beat you off the line more often then not.
