Need Help with Tailgate Convertion

I have 01 F250 SD i need to replace my tail gate, i found a 2010-2011 tailgate, what is what i need to be able to use the new tailgate ? , i heard that i need a hinge plate on the driver side, but can someone be more specific.

I'm not sure if there's a difference between the '10 gates and the '08 gates, but I know for the '08 all you need is a torx bit (t-55 if I remember) to swap the driver's side hinge. You will probably need a torch too, those bolts are really on there.
