I need some HELP!
Just got my new MBRP 5" exhaust. Ive got all the old off except the downpipe. I cant seem to get it down. Its like there isnt enough room to turn it the way i need to get it out. The tranny cross member seems to be in the way. I dont have anything to cut it with either to clear the cross member. Any tips?? I need my truck in the morning lol.

you can either take out the cross member and support the t-case with a jack. or go to a kragen or auto zone and rent a tool to cut the exhaust pipe, its just a chain hooked to a handle with blades on it and you can cut it in 2 pieces.

Remove the crossmember, or cut the DP. If you have a one piece MBRP downpipe, you have to remove the crossmember anyway to reinstall.

Well I cut the factory dp in half and got it out. New 4" dp went in really easy. Everything seems to be going well except the last part that goes over the axle. Doesnt want to fit with the spare tire. Is that normal? Its not reallly a big deal- the spare isnt really any good to me anyways. It doesnt want to come down though. I dont have a manual but im assuming that I turn to the left to lower it? I cant seem to get a bite to lower it down.
