early 99 and 01 Turbo differences

Does anybody know the differences between the turbo off of a early 99 P/N 1831457c92, S/N FEM37224 and one off a 01 P/N 1831383c93 with what I belive is S/N DJ1347 GTP38? They look identical but is one better than the other? Will the one off the 01 fit the 99? Would it make a difference, performance wise?

All I know is that the e99 has the wicked wheel already on it. But I don't think they are interchangeable with eachother. The turbo pedestal or up pipes are different and the wastegate is different. Don't quote me on that but it's what I've heard on this forum
