Perhaps I posting in the wrong area. I am not getting a brake light or blinker on the right side of my trailer. All other lights/running lights are working as they should be as are the electric brakes. It's not the trailer wiring, I've been able to trace the problem to the wiring harness up near the firewall. When I unplug at that point and check the terminals feeding this harness, I get very low juice on the right blinker (barely registers (less than a volt)). So something must be wrong somewhere else ... is there something under the dash I should be checking / changing? Any ideas on what to check next? Thanks ...
I had this same issue with my Excursion, come to find out it was a fuse in the box under the hood on the driver side firewall. I don't remember what fuse it was, but it was one of the "small" ones towards the back of the box against the firewall.
Thanks boostedh22a and SuperCruty.. I'm feeling kind of stupid. Yes it was a fuse -- all is well now. Didn't realize there was another fuse box under the hood even though I reached around it to get to the wiring harness!
I had the same problem some years ago and it took a long time for me to find this problem as I was not a member here. This place is great, all you have to do is ask:thumb:
