Looking for some info?
Hello everyone, My name is dennis i live in va. and new to this site. I have had a couple ford 6.0 diesels in the past but never a 7.3. So i recently purchased a 2003 f-350 cc short bed fx4 with 66k original miles. Now i would like some info if possible, the truck already has a banks powerpack system on it which i guess is 4" pipes, banks turbo, k&n air filter and banks intercooler no tuner. it says on paper work truck could have up to 354hp is this correct? also the previous owner had trans. rebuilt and added a banks billet converter. It also has a banks trans go but it is not hooked up. Im thinking of adding a tuner and 4"-6" lift to run 35s or 36s tires. Any advice on tuner and lift and what ur thoughts of the banks products are would be greatly appreciated Would like to get close to 400hp. Thanks, Dennis

Without a tuner on it then that hp number is not likely. The Banks turbo would actually just be a couple mods to the stock turbo, nothing major. The Banks intercooler and exhaust is good stuff. There are better intakes on the market and for some good hp that you adjust when you want I'd say get a TS chip burned by any of the major tuners out there. My experience is with PHP (Power Hungry Performance), DP Tuner and Tony Wildman are also very popular. For 400 rwhp you should look into a better turbo and some injectors.
