truck seems slow

i have a early 99 7.3 with a 5 speed. it has 158K miles. K&N Short ram intake, full 4" exaust and downpipe, just a cat no muffler. TS performance chip. and a heavy duty clutch to handle the power

over stock tune this thing is pretty snappy but doesnt seem as fast as it should be. it still gets beaten easily by little 4 banger family cars, not just the Vtech hondas. my older saturn sl2 runs circles around it in any gear from a stop or a roll

does this sound right? my brothers 5.9 cummins stock will keep up with my powerstroke

Keep in mind you are trying to move a 6,000+ lb truck with a 5 speed vs a 3,000 lb honda. You may have a boost leak or something though that can have a negative affect on acceleration. Also i took my cat off and saw a HUGE difference you may want to try the same thing.
