Reverse light?

Ok my reverse lights are not working. So far I have checked fuses, bulbs, and the power to the bulbs. I am no getting power to the bulbs or the tow outlet. This is not letting my trailer brakes disengage when I put the truck in reverse. I think that there is a problem with the trans not sending the signal. It is a 6 speed manual. Does anyone know where to look for a plug or a wire coming out of the trans?

FYI I found a switch on the passenger side tail end of the trans that functions the reverse lights. The switch was good, but I had a broken wire coming off of it. Repaired the wire and back in business.
