First truck, 7.3 powerstroke!

So last weekend I finally got a truck instead of driving my brothers stinkin jetta around lol. I was originally going to get a 96 ext cab 4x4 long bed 7.3, but then I drove it more the next time I went to the dealer and didn't like the 4.10 rear, especially for a daily driver. Now the 96 only has 142xxx on it so I liked that. But then the guy said he had another truck at an affordable price. So i checked it out and it was a 2002 f250 ext cab short bed with 225xxx miles, all high way. The previous owner actually bought the truck from the same dealer I was at, and traded it in for a dually a few weeks ago(very good dealer, woodyardauto). S I drove it and it has a nice ride, interior is exceptionally clean and almost brand new. I got the truck for a little over $12k after tax. Its a lot better then the 96, but I'm a huge fan of the old square bodies so it still looks better then the 02 haha. I racked up 80 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, and it has risen quickly since I commute 34 miles one way each day. It has one nerf bar since the driver side tube snapped off in a little accident from the previous owner. So first things first, got to buy new ones. I'm looking at Rhino spring steps so they are discrete and out of the way. But future plans for the truck are: TW tunes, 4" straight pipe out the rear or under cab, KMC monster rims, 33" nitto terras, and a mild 2-3" lift. I'll put pics up later!
