tow hook Q?

ok I just bought a pair of tow hooks for the superduty, do I have to pull the front bumper to install them? Mine has a plate covering the hole but I can cut it with the plasma cutter while its still on the truck damage free.. So basically I just need to know if I can cut the square out and install them or do I need to yank the bumper off? If I have to pull it how big of a deal is it?

not sure on the hooks but the bumper is a breeze to take off just s few bolts
