Thanks for the tip. Did the search, found the bolts, and tightened them—one was backed out pretty far. Drops into 1 just fine now. There's still a lot of slop though, and the gear indicator doesn't line up as it should. I suspect it's the shaft bushings.

Also started repainting the faded grey parts of my grille satin black. Should clean it up for a while until I do an '05 swap.

New fuel filter and serviced the AfE filter. Fixed a leaky fitting on water/meth tank. Something sliding around in the bed hit it. Built a guard for it now.

DIY 6637 Intake with Donaldson filter. I was thinking about drilling a hole in the 4in pipe I used to connect the filter to mount the restriction gauge. What do y'all think?

I dont know what you understand with fluid dynamics but I tried this exact thing and saw the minder get completely sucked shut! That area creates a venturi which causes a low pressure (vacuum) and it will show on the minder.

I then drilled a hole in the base of the filter so it would sense the pressure inside the filter but would not be in the air stream between the filter and turbo. This worked a lot better!
