valve cover wiring issue

i started out my day running on 6 out of 8 cylinders ..made it home is all that counts.......wannna see a V10 do that.....Ok so after reading up i am convinced that i have a looose harness on the passengers side. Pulling both valve covers and doing 50 cent mod on both. While open ohming out glows and inspected wiring harness. any other things to do while its open......any way to inspect injectors for possible issues with mpg....
