pressure washing the engine bay help

Has anyone ever pressure washed a 7.3l and degresed it I'm worried bout the electrical conections and alternator and all that do I need to mask anything off or be careful of anything

Don't use pressure. Spray degreaser and use LOW pressure water. All the connections under the hood are weather resistant, so getting a little wet won't be a problem.

Just cover up your intake and it will be fine.

I degrease and pressure wash mine all the time, I throw a plastic bag over the 6637 filter and have at it. Then I used compressed air and dry it all off, and sometimes use silicone dressing on everything and wipe that back down.

I feel u on the but direct water on all these parts vs having the hoid to protect it what kinda degreasure is good

i cleaned my motor for the first time about 3 weeks agao and i used low pressure garden hose and only prayed the motor nothing else. truck ran like sh*t for about 10 minutes after and my power steering started to whine. i didnt get any connectors wet either.

when i replaced the trans i used my pressure washer and degrease all the time, never had a problem,

see thats what i was orried bought the truck running like **** lol 99 stacked powerstroke how do u like the php tunes im bout to visit there shop and get my ts chip tuned by them

i love it, but instead of the 120 tune go the 140 tune, if your wanting one of them, my egrs drop bout 70 degrees between stock and the 80hp dd, but i LOVE it
