From what I understand a 12v is the easiest swap as it doesn't have any electrics, and the motor fits, but the amount of money to do a good conversion will be really expensive. Custom fabbed parts and labor to install, test, fit, and refit everything will probably cost a lot more than just buying a Ram with a Cummins in it. I know, the Dodge really IS that bad and it is unfortunate a Cummins was put into that junker, but the conversions are pretty pricey from what I've read. Think between 10-15k to do it right.
