Well I sold some junk and got some cash, and I think its time for some new stuff.
I am wanting to either get a 4" Turbo back straight piped exhaust, for one from Diamond Eye in my budget, or I'm thinkin about some gauges, I'm not to set on Isspro or Autometer, I don't really want Glow Shifts though.
For guages I was thinking about gettin the standard Boost, Pyro, and Trans temp, I was also thinking about getting an engine temp to.
Im leaning more towards guages but I know I cant afford both right now I just cant decide on which one to get!!!
get the exhaust man, i have 4 inch turbo back exhaust that turns into duals with 6 inch tips and it sounds amazing!!! and it runs alot better also, think about a cold air also, i love mine, its a stage 2,
I would say Exhaust first. Don't need gauges unless you are running a programmer/tunes IMHO.
Just something to think about, depending on how long you will have your truck, might want to go with the stainless 409 exhaust, I went with MBRP becaus eit has a lifetime warranty on the 409 stainless. LOVE it, too, BTW. :thumb:
Well ya, I might just get exhaust first, that way I can do more research on dash top gauge pods, and get a F650 dash piece. But, Ive been wanting guages for quite a while.
Well, Im not 100% sold on Glow Shifts yet, you know how it is some people have problems with them and some people have lots of success with them. I do like the color change thing they have, and thier price is right. So maybe I should give them a try instead of blowing a ton of money and not liking expensive ones more then ones that are truly in my budget.

As far as gauges, Isspro or Autometer, can't really go wrong. EGT, Boost, and Trans temp. are definatly the big three, but if your looking for engine temp gauge I would look into an oil temp gauge, it is a more accurate reading of actuall engine temp. :thumb:
True True, Ya sounds like exhaust is next. Get my research done and later this summer Ill get me some gauges.
I found that exhaust from Diamond Eye for under $250, its just a single, which is fine. 4" turbo back, get rid of the cat and muffler, and later get a nice tip. I know a warranty would be nice, but I always seem to do the things the warrenty doesn't cover, you know.
Glowshift gauges suck. I saw a set in a truck. I couldn't stand them when I test drove it. I have autometer and love them. I had gauges before I had exhaust. Pretty much cause I got a smoking deal on them. But I like the idea of having the gauges on a stock truck especially if your gonna make her work hard.
Thanks for all the responses guys, I decided to get the exhaust just because I havent made my mind up on which brand of gauge or where to put them (since I want to mount them on my dash and underneath with a F650 dash piece).
And I started to rework my tail end of the flatbed, and i figured having a new exhaust poking out would be nice.
So gauges the next time I can get a handfull of change :thumb:
