obs 7.3 in a superduty 7.3

i am wondering if an obs motor would work in a superduty? i now that some things would need to be changed but is it worth it? i have a chance at getting an obs for dirt cheap thats why im asking. thank you

Yes it would. You just need the right PCM and it sould work fine

Well how about the fuel pump and the cluster? wouldnt work with a newer cluster.. things dont match up..

I'd say get the obs, put the SD turbo/uppipes/plenums/ic/hpop/fuel pump, then you're set. im assuming you have a bad motor, take the good stuff off n upgrade the obs motor...

Treat the OBS motor as a short block and swap everything that is different, including the injectors. Plug the mechanical fuel pump hole with a 7/8" freeze plug. My 2000 is running with a 97 OBS engine donor.
