just intalled my ts 6 pos chip. i like it. i have the stock, hi idle, 50 75 100 140 settings on it. the truck does smoke alot on all the settings mainly on the 75 to 140 settings. is this common?

Yeah mine will smoke on all the settings. What you described sounds normal, although it is difficult to say what is excessive through the internet. Maybe check you air filter to see if you have an air restriction if it is smoking a good bit.

it has a diy intake that has been on for maybe a month. i would not say excessive smoke....i guess it only smokes when i get on it. was not sure if it was common or not. not complaining about the smoke though

I got a ts 6position chip from swamps for stock truck. Mine only smokes in tow setting under heavy throttle. Only hazes in the hot setting and doesnt smoke on any of the other settings.

Yes, but you have custom tunes, so they probably will smoke less.

sounds normal. i have less smoke now with my custom tunes from eric than i did before with the edge juice (even tho it has more power). canned tunes will smoke more than custom tunes, generally speaking
