go to lowes or home depot and get some barbed fittings and some 1/2 inch oil rated hose and some worm clamps, thats it. When i did mine i bought some reducer barbs that were 3/8's on one end and 1/2" on the other and used a piece of the stock cooler line to attach to the hard lines on the truck.

So on the barbed fittings from Lowes I need 1/2" to 3/8" fittings? then 1/2" oil rated hose and worm clamps? seems easy enough then...How much hose do I need?

I bought about 10' of the 1/2" and 10' of the 3/8". I didn't use, but maybe 5' of the 1/2" and about 6' of the 3/8". I figured while I was in there I'd just replace the old hose to the hard line tubes.

yeah 2- 1/2" to 3/8" fittings, then I used a 2- 90* 1/2" barbs to make the turn from the cooler back to the factory hard lines. then like 10 worm clamps and yeah I bought 8 ft of 1/2 inch line, the hose ended up being power steering hose but works fine from auto zone

Last edited by campbellflage; 06-03-2011 at 08:57 AM. Reason: correct number of worm clamps
